“Clack Clack” – Memorial Tribute to Robert F. Kennedy – Music Video

John Stewart first met RFK when he was attorney general. The two men bonded and when RFK decided to run for president in 1968 he called Stewart to see if he would be part of the campaign. John jumped at the chance and put the album he was recording with Buffy Ford on hold and two began a series of whistle stop singalongs warming up crowds for RFK from train platforms and auditoriums across the country. During his time on the campaign trail John began writing “Clack Clack” about the campaign train and crowds RFK inspired and who in turn was moved by the people who came out to greet him. When RFK was assassinated, a grief-stricken John completed “Clack Clack” as a memorial to RFK.  To view “Clack Clack” go to https://youtu.be/dSqBh6Ub_X4
