This recording is one of my favorite John Stewart songs. It was released as a single in 1982 by Allegiance Records (John’s label after RSO Records) from the album, “Blondes”. Lindsey Buckingham arranged the song and sang backup vocals. Linda Ronstadt added her high-sweet harmony that hits the recording out of the ballpark. When she sings about angels in the song you can hear them in her voice. Oddly, in researching the John Stewart documentary project I have yet to come across any print or audio interviews with John commenting on this song, a disappointment because I would love to hear how the song came about.  To view “The Queen of Hollywood High” click https://youtu.be/m_zLLqjuDk8
